Whether you are coming to experience our trophy Utah fly fishing, trophy Utah elk hunting, looking for a weekend retreat, a unique Utah wedding location, a private place to stay that is more personal than a hotel, or you want to have a family reunion, we can accommodate you and your group. Our cabins and lodges are available year round for rental and we cater to a broad range of groups from the fly fisherman or hunter recreating on our ranch to the non sportsmen, family or business traveler looking for clean, quiet accomodations.
LC Ranch Location
Our ranch is located at the base of the High Uintah Wilderness area, near Altamont, Utah a little over 2 hour drive from Salt Lake City. We are just a 30 minute drive to Rock Creek or the Moon Lake access area’s in the Uinta Mountains. The High Uintah Wilderness area has over 500 lakes and more than 460,000 acres. The Uintah Mountains are the largest mountains running east to west in the Western Hemisphere. We are very conveniently located to Vernal, Utah only about 90 minutes away and only 30 minutes from Roosevelt.
